There are several different types of chamomile infusions, but only those from the Roman, German or Egyptian varieties are used for the drink. The history of chamomile appears to go back as far as
ancient Egypt, where it was used as a cold remedy. These days, it’s one of the most popular herbal
teas around.

Our Egyptian Chamomile has the perfect growing conditions of sandy loam and nutrients of the Nile. Most chamomile teas are made by crushing the flowers - not a nice thing to do. The best chamomile comes from brewing the whole flowers - which is exactly what we do. Well known benefits of chamomile include sleep-promoting properties, relaxing muscles and soothing anxiety.
Are you looking for the perfect drink for a quiet moment or to wind down after a busy day? Like the
centre of these pretty daisy-like flowers, this is a golden infusion which is light bodied, slightly sweet
and floral.
